Uvuli collects the information needed to operate shared event galleries. This may include:

• Event details, including event names, settings, dates, and locations.
• Guest names where provided.
• Photos and videos uploaded to events.
• Collections, moderation decisions, and event activity.
• QR code and guest link usage.
• Subscription and billing status.
• Basic technical information about your device and how the service is used.

Photos and videos uploaded to an event are stored so hosts and authorised guests can view, organise, moderate, download, and share them according to the event settings.

To provide a fast and reliable experience, Uvuli may generate thumbnails, previews, resized versions, and related metadata to help galleries and collections load efficiently.

We use information to:

• Provide and maintain the Uvuli service.
• Authenticate user accounts.
• Enable guest links and QR code access.
• Process uploads.
• Support moderation features.
• Manage subscriptions and paid features.
• Respond to support requests.
• Improve reliability, security, and performance.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse.
• Communicate important service or account updates.

Content shared within an event may be visible to hosts, invited guests, or anyone with access to an event's guest link or QR code, depending on the settings chosen by the host.

Hosts control many event permissions, including whether uploads require approval and whether guests can download shared media.

Uvuli may use trusted third-party service providers to help operate the service, including providers for hosting, cloud storage, authentication, payments, analytics, email delivery, security, and customer support.

These providers receive only the information necessary to perform services on our behalf and are expected to protect it appropriately.

If you purchase a paid plan or feature, payment processing is handled by our payment providers.

Uvuli may retain subscription status, billing identifiers, invoices, and payment records required to activate features, manage subscriptions, resolve billing issues, and maintain financial records.

Uvuli does not store your full payment card details.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to help protect your account and event data.

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal or financial obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and support the ongoing operation of Uvuli.

Depending on the features available, you may:

• Update your profile.
• Manage your event settings.
• Remove guests.
• Hide or delete uploaded media.
• Delete collections.
• Delete your account.

Deleting your account may also remove events that you own and associated event data, subject to limited retention where required for legal, security, billing, or operational purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Uvuli evolves.

If we make significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the app or by another appropriate communication method.
